“There is no instant gratification. You will reach the ultimate way of being present”
This program was made as a result of two women tying knots of connection, friendship and love for life. Putting into existence something that never was before - a unique, intricate and empowering fusion of yoga practices and macrame knotting. A collaboration between Love Life Retreats and VIITTA House is here for you.
Macrame is an ancient technique of tying knots using just your hands and a bit of rope. You can use these handmade knots to create patterns and apply these patterns to create unique pieces for interior design, fashion or spiritual practices. “Each handmade garment becomes your spiritual armour that you knotted with your own hands, with your own intentions. When you wear it, you feel empowered and supported” says Violetta, the macrame teacher.
This is why during our retreat you will learn how to tie intentions into the magic macrame knots and create a bespoke VIITTA Hoody with your own hands. This will be the first time the secret of the VIITTA Hoody is shared with the world, a designer item that takes over 20hrs of commitment.
The transformative fusion of practices at this destination retreat was made to guide you to embrace mindfulness, your ability to be fully present and aware, your mind to be in full attention to what you are doing, the knots your hands are making and the macrame patterns you are creating. You will learn to trust yourself and your hands to create complex macrame patterns. You cannot get to the next step unless you complete the current step. You will be tapping into your flow state - where time doesn't exist, it's just you and your craft.
